A Walk In Lady Gaga’s Cowboy Boots

The fashion of Lady Gaga is shocking, scintillating and quite frankly, highly addictive. On a weekly or even daily basis, Lady Gaga is known for changing up her look and going from one extreme to the next. It’s been awhile since she’s released an album, but her next record titled ‘Born This Way’ has her fans waiting with baited breath to see what she comes up with next. Not wanting to disappoint, Lady Gaga has made a few subtle hints, and a new music video shows that she may be paying homage to the country look.

Tony Lama, the most well known cowboy boots designed was asked to create a few pair of ultra chunky western inspired platform boots for Gaga, and rumor has it that she will be wearing them while on tour. The black Tony Lama boots that Lady Gaga wears in her ‘Born This Way’ video are midnight black in color, and covered in 3-dimensional unicorns. These platform cowboy boots are huge, measuring more than 14 inches from the bottom of the heels to the very top. An even more elaborately designed pair of Tony Lama boots for Gaga are white with gold embellishments, have a unique wooden strip around the toe area and are covered in gold chains. Oddly enough, these boots look slightly more comfortable and are much more practical than most of Lady Gaga’s other shoes, but these are making fans wonder what she could possibly wear to pull off the rest of her look.

Tyra Banks And Demand Studios Team Up

Although Tyra Banks’ talk show has gone off the air, and many critics believe that her fashion centered reality TV show may not be able to appeal to the masses in the future, her newest endeavor takes fashion to another level. Banks has teamed up with Demand Studios on a project named TypeF, which hopes to help the everyday woman to feel more beautiful and empowered. While Tyra Banks is a former model, she has since become an ambassador for all women. Furthermore, Banks believes that all women deserve the opportunity to wear fashionable brands even if they are not tall and thin.

Instead of giving viewers access to generic fashion news TypeF will allow each visitor to have a personalized experience. The website will give budding fashionistas based on their preset preferences and Tyra Banks herself will be answering questions raised by her fans. Although this is probably the least glamorous of all of Banks’ recent gigs, it does seem that her new fashion website will help her to connect with her fans on a more personal level.

Currently, Banks is pursuing a business at Harvard University, where she is expected to graduate from in mid 2012. ‘America’s Next Top Model’ is currently in it 17th season, and Banks has just signed a new deal with a fashion agency that will help to her promote her company, ‘Bankable Productions.’ It will be awhile before Demand Studios and Banks will see whether or not their new fashion project will pan out, but at least web surfers will have one more destination.

The UK Can’t Get Enough Of Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton is destined to be the next Princess of Wales but the citizens of the UK have already latched onto her because of her winning personality and tasteful fashion choices. Stylists are already grooming the 29 year old bride who hails from Berkshire. She and her fiance, Prince William of Wales, have been appearing all over England and Scotland for official engagement ceremonies. The press has been covering their activities as well as providing the details on her outfits.

Middleton was spotted meeting her soon to be husband at the University of St. Andrews, their alma mater, dressed in a fitted red suit by an undetermined designer. She paired her striking red ensemble with a pair of Aquatalia by Marvin K suede black boots. A matching pair of black gloves and a black belt helped Kate to pull the look together. The day before Kate was seen wearing a mini-beret adorned with ostrich feathers. Her outfit, designed by Vivien Sheriff Millinery, was made to spec.

There has been a lot of talk about whether or not Middleton will be the newest style icon of the royal family. Because Princess Diana was the embodiment of grace, beauty and style, the British press has been watching and waiting for Kate show any signs of being like the late princess. Both women are completely unique, however, they were both married into the royal family at a time when it became customary for the media to intrude on the personal lives of anyone in the spotlight.
